Genuine Form 4 transfers of factory-built SBRs and SBS's — not builds, not pistols. Everything listed below is confirmed sourceable.
$200 tax stamp eliminated as of January 1, 2026.
A rifle with a barrel under 16" (or overall length under 26") is a Short Barreled Rifle. A shotgun with a barrel under 18" is a Short Barreled Shotgun. Both are regulated under the NFA — same category as suppressors.
A braced pistol is legally different from an SBR — as of April 2026, ATF formally rescinded the rule that blurred this line. Everything on this page is a true factory SBR/SBS with a shoulder stock, fully semi-automatic. No full-auto items are sold here.
Everything here is already built and factory-serialized by the manufacturer. We're transferring it to you via Form 4 — we don't offer Form 1 build/conversion services.
As of January 1, 2026, the federal tax on SBR/SBS transfers dropped to $0. Registration and ATF approval are still required — the paperwork didn't go away, just the fee.
ATF approval isn't instant. We don't control their timeline, but we track your submission and keep you updated the whole way through.
Pay online to reserve, we schedule your fingerprinting and Form 4 appointment, one visit to submit everything in person, then pickup once approved — all handled here in Horace.
SBRs and SBS's are illegal to possess in several states even with an approved Form 4 — including California, New York, New Jersey, Hawaii, Illinois, Rhode Island, and Washington D.C., among others.
