EFT & SWFT Digital Fingerprinting | Fargo, West Fargo & Horace, ND
Law Enforcement Grade Equipment. Same-Day Results.
Horace Firearms provides professional digital fingerprinting using the Integrated Biometrics Kojak — the same live scan system used by law enforcement agencies nationwide. We offer two types of digital fingerprinting: EFT files for ATF NFA applications and SWFT submissions for FBI federal background checks. Zero ink. Zero smudges. Zero rejected prints. Serving Horace, Fargo, West Fargo, Moorhead, and the greater Fargo-Moorhead area.
EFT Fingerprinting — ATF NFA Applications
Electronic Fingerprint Transmission (EFT) is the ATF's required digital fingerprint format for all NFA applications submitted through ATF eForms. If you're purchasing a suppressor, building an SBR on a Form 1, or filing any Form 4 transfer, you need an EFT file.
Your EFT file is created from your digital fingerprint captures and submitted directly with your ATF eForm application. Your EFT file never expires — get fingerprinted once and use that file for every future NFA purchase.
- Required for ATF Form 1 (SBR/SBS builds) and Form 4 (NFA transfers)
- Works for suppressors, SBRs, SBSs, and transferable machine guns
- Same-day file delivery — ready for your eForm submission immediately
- File never expires — one appointment covers all future NFA purchases
- Compatible with all NFA trusts and individual filings
SWFT Fingerprinting — FBI Federal Background Checks
Secure Web Fingerprint Transmission (SWFT) is the FBI's electronic submission system for federal background checks. Unlike EFT which goes to the ATF, SWFT submissions go directly to the FBI's national database and are used for employment, licensing, and clearance purposes that have nothing to do with firearms.
Horace Firearms is a certified SWFT provider — one of the few in the Fargo-Moorhead area. We capture your fingerprints on the Kojak scanner and submit them directly to the FBI via SWFT, with same-day processing.
- Federal employment background checks
- TSA PreCheck enrollment
- Federal contractor security clearances
- USPS, federal agency, and government position applications
- Financial industry licensing (FINRA requirements)
- Immigration background checks
- Professional licensing requiring FBI background check
Why Our Equipment Makes a Difference
The Integrated Biometrics Kojak is not a consumer fingerprint reader. It's a professional-grade FBI-certified live scan system used by police departments, sheriff's offices, and federal agencies. It captures all ten fingers simultaneously at the highest quality standard, producing captures that meet every federal and state submission requirement — every time.
- FBI-certified professional live scan system
- Same equipment used by law enforcement agencies
- Captures all ten fingerprints simultaneously
- Zero ink — completely digital process
- Highest resolution captures — no smudges, no rejections
- Certified for both EFT (ATF) and SWFT (FBI) submissions
